Digital Health (My Health Record) project

Project overview

Australian Digital Health Agency ProjectThe National Allergy Council is working with the Australian Digital Health Agency to improve allergy information in people’s My Health Record.

This project aims to:

  • Support healthcare professionals to use My Health Record
  • Help people with an allergy (and their carers) understand why it is important to have information about their life-threatening allergies recorded in My Health Record
  • Help GPs and practice nurses use the right words when describing allergies in a shared health summary when using their computer
  • Make sure that allergy information can be easily found in My Health Record
